Paddles

Long and wide paddles are key tools in salmon trolling, generating strong vibrations, flash, and an erratic, swaying motion that mimics struggling baitfish. Their larger size creates more water resistance, producing wide side-to-side action, especially effective in deeper, low-visibility waters. Trolled between 1.5 and 2.4 mph, they enhance the movement of trailing lures or bait, making them appear more lifelike. Wide Paddles can be combined with whirly gigs or spinning attractors  to add an erratic, spiraling motion to your presentation at slower speeds. Other flashers such as Dreamer Flip Fins and coho dodgers adds versatility, allowing paddling or spinning action full 360° rotations on the same flasher at varying speeds.  Mixing paddles, Coho flashers, and spinning attractors allows anglers to fine-tune presentations based on water conditions, depth, and target species for maximum trolling success.
